Two young artists discover that love may be the best therapy

Maria and Patryk are young artists united by ambition, talent and sensitivity, yet divided by their experiences and backgrounds. She is working on a project called “Tears for Sale”, in which she pays people for their emotions; he is unable to cry himself. When they meet, their relationship quickly becomes a space for intimacy, desire and confronting old wounds. “Tell Me What You Feel” is a tender, intimate portrait of Generation Z, shaped by empathy and emotional closeness. The film explores the fear of intimacy, the need to talk about feelings and the attempt to understand oneself through another person.

In the media

«Polish cinema has reached a point where we can experience screen emotions without a pile-up of conflicts – and with such tenderness that it makes you want to write about all of it.»
— Łukasz Mańkowski, Filmweb, read the full review here

«One of the most tender portraits of a complicated, sugar-free love, whose very imperfection, laid bare before the viewer, is what makes it so beautiful.»
— Mary Kosiarz, Interia, read the full review here

«Łukasz Ronduda’s intimate work is a deeply tender study of a relationship – it delves into trauma in order to attentively follow the fragile threads of understanding between wounded souls.»
— Mariana Hristova, Cineuropa, read the full review here
