When the struggle for a place of your own becomes a struggle for a life together

Ada and Ewa, two young teachers in love, are forced to leave their apartment block, which is scheduled for demolition. With no savings and no prospects, they set out to find a new place to live. Their journey through the city quickly turns into an absurd and unpredictable odyssey. Combining humour with sharp observation, the film portrays a generation coming of age in the shadow of one crisis after another. It is a story about the struggle for independence, love and dreams, told in the bittersweet, often absurd tone of a tragicomedy with a dark sense of humour.
