17. FKA

Nina Wojewódzka

A recent graduate of the International Baccalaureate programme and an incoming student at the Katowice Film School. She is a winner of the 10th edition of the National Film and Social Communication Olympiad. Her cinematic taste is perhaps best summed up by Sofia Coppola’s Lost in Translation, particularly its dreamlike, ephemeral atmosphere and its ability to capture the intangible while remaining restrained in its use of dialogue. Despite her sensitivity and artistic nature, she is firmly grounded and derives the greatest satisfaction from having a sense of agency. For more than a year, she has been focused on selling an original card game designed to encourage active listening and communication. The project reflects her passion for documentary cinema, which she has recently become particularly fascinated by through the work of Maciej Cuske, whose film Kandydaci śmierci she discovered at a pre-premiere screening.
