Michał Piepiórka
A cultural studies scholar, film critic and author of the Bliżej Ekranu blog. He is an assistant professor at the Institute of Cultural Studies at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and a lecturer at the Faculty of Art Education and Curatorial Studies at the University of Arts Poznań. He contributes to Kino monthly, Czas Kultury and Filmweb. He has received distinctions three times in the Krzysztof Mętrak Film Criticism Competition and has been nominated twice for awards from the Polish Film Institute. He is the author of the book Rockefellerowie i Marks nad Warszawą. Polskie kino fabularne wobec transformacji gospodarczej.
