Julia Kaczmarska

A winner of the National Film and Social Communication Olympiad. She is a director and coordinator of a school theatre production inspired by the poem What Does Mr Cogito Think About Death, and has volunteered at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia in the Audience Services Department. She is interested in Japanese cinema, humanist themes and the documentary essay, particularly forms in which the image becomes an autonomous means of reflecting on humanity, memory and reality. She is drawn to ambiguous narratives that resist linear dramaturgy, leave room for subjective interpretation and operate at the intersection of reality, memory and imagination.
