Jakub Izdebski

A graduate of Film Studies at Jagiellonian University. He is a journalist for Interia’s film editorial team and has also contributed to Ekrany magazine. As a child, he wanted to become a palaeontologist, but after seeing Jurassic Park, he knew that films were his true passion. He watches everything from festival cinema to the kinds of creature features Jean-Claude Van Damme made for the video market. He enjoys discovering cinematic gems, watching films that are “so bad they’re good” with friends, superhero franchises and absurd action movies. His favourite film of 2026 is Marty Supreme.
