Adriana Prodeus

A film critic. At Kino monthly, she edits the “Topic of the Issue” section. She lectures at the Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences and at the Artes Liberales Faculty of the University of Warsaw. She specialises in avant-garde cinema and animation. She is the author of the book Themersonowie. Szkice biograficzne. She has worked as a festival selector and juror and served as director of the Animator International Animated Film Festival. She has curated animation retrospectives at Anthology Film Archives. She was deputy director of the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art and literary director at KADR Film Studio. She has hosted cultural programmes for Polish public media and contributed to Vogue, Newsweek, Filmweb, Dwutygodnik, Kultura Liberalna and Krytyka Polityczna.
