We’re looking for unique, original stories, documentaries, animations, and experimental films to be presented at the 17th edition of the Camera Action Festival. Filmmakers can submit their short films in two categories: Best “Live Action” Short Film and Best Animation.

FILMS MAY BE SUBMITTED TO THE CONTEST IF THEY:

• are no longer than 30 minutes
• were produced after January 1, 2025

COMPETITION CALENDAR

1. Opening for film submissions – March 25, 2026.
   The registration fee depends on the date the application is submitted and is as follows:
   • 10$ (Early Birds) – dla zgłoszeń przesłanych do 20.07.2026 r.
   • 15$ (Regular Deadline) – dla zgłoszeń przesłanych od 21.07.2026 r.
2. Deadline for film submissions – August 9, 2026, 23:59 (UTC +2).
3. Selection of competition films by the Selection Committee – August 10–23, 2026.
4. Publication on the Organiser’s websites, the full list of films that will take part in the Competition – August 31, 2026.
5. Competition screenings during the Festival – October 22-25, 2026.
6. Announcement of the winners of the Competition – October 25, 2026.

AWARDS IN THE AUTHORS SPOTLIGHT INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION INCLUDE:

• PLN 2.000 (~ 530$) cash prize in the category of the Best Short “Live Action” (Feature Film, Documentary, Experimental) (award for the director of the film),
• PLN 2.000 (~ 530$) cash prize in the Best Short (Animated) (award for the director of the film).
• the Audience Award (no categories),
• non-cash prizes.
